first_imgAdjunct Faculty:Xavier University School of Nursing has regular openings foradjunct instructors to teach part-time in clinical, lab, and/orsimulation settings for pre-licensure programs; also for online andface-to-face didactic courses in the ABSN and MSN programs.Adjuncts’ responsibilities vary by course assignment. The adjunctclinical/ lab instructor is responsible for planning the student’sclinical experience at the direction of the faculty member, supportappropriate to the clinical situation, and contribute to theevaluation the student’s performance. Clinical instructors willsupervise, teach, and evaluate up to 8 students in the clinicalsettings as well as guide students through simulation experiencesbased on course objectives and student learning needs.. Labinstructors will participate in set-up, instruction, and evaluationof students in the lab setting. Didactic instructors areresponsible for implementing the course syllabus as developed bythe School, facilitates learning opportunities for students, andevaluates the students’ achievement and progress in courseobjectives or outcomes.
